Willie, aka Ziggi, brews his own beer and shares from his tasting room.  I love volunteering, especially to elevate the Melrose District by being involved in the Community Alliance, Merchants Association and the Street Fair. We moved to the Grandview neighborhood in 2014. I love our fab neighborhood! It is full of interesting, caring and fun neighbors that make Grandview special.  We are happy to be included and connected to such a warm community.

Since I didn’t know anyone, I joined the Board to get know our Community and make new friends.  Little did I know what a great neighborhood Grandview is and it keeps on getting better with every new resident that moves here.  Several years ago, I retired from an interesting career in the construction industry and have been focusing my time doing volunteer work.   I’ve been sharing my passion for event planning and fundraising with the Grandview Board assisting with their activities along with the annual Melrose Street Fair fundraiser.  I also love foreign traveling, wine tasting and spending time with my friends.

I grew up in Florida, and moved to Phoenix in ‘98. I’m a social worker and I work in HIV services. My husband and I bought our house on Campbell Avenue in 2011 And we have one son, Ethan. I love this neighborhood. It’s centrally located, organized, and we have some of the best neighbors. I really and truly believe that communities can accomplish just about anything when people come together.

I’ve lived in Grandview with my husband Dave since 2016. What I love about our neighborhood is the unique architecture and mid-century vibe. We have a strong community of neighbors who genuinely care about each other. I serve on the board to do my part in making our community a bright place. In my free time, find me outside enjoying the sunshine with our dog Pony.

When I was working my home was  less then two miles from the office. Not bad.
I’ve enjoyed being on the board to support our neighborhood in making it a safe and friendly place. And I continue to appreciate the Central location.

Hi! My name is Tom Eglin. My wife, Cathy, & I have lived on Campbell Ave for 13 years. She's a past president of the association & I've been involved for years. We love the neighborhood and all its neighbors. Fun going to events to meet & talk with all the new comers. Hope you'll get involved & enjoy the same feelings. See you at the next meeting or event.

I was born and raised in Milwaukee, lived in Cheyenne, Wyoming and Seattle, Washington, where few neighborhoods in any of those cities have fences.  All of those Phoenix fences/walls were difficult for me to understand when my husband Jim and I moved here.  That makes me really appreciate the neighborhood openness and friendliness of Grandview.  Working with the neighborhood has given me an increased sense of gratefulness of communication with new friends.  We love to bicycle and in our free time, we both love to travel.  This blurb maybe about me but as you can see, Jim is my true friend in life.
