Neighbors On Watch
In the Grandvew neighborhood, our Block Watch has been designated as N.O.W (Neighbors On Watch). If you would like a sign for your front yard, please contact our Block Watch Coordinator at mygrandviewphx@gmail.com and one will be delivered to your home! We also have signs available at our neighborhood booth at the Melrose Street Fair in March, at all neighborhood meetings and at our annual Fall Festival event in November.
From the City of Phoenix:
Block Watch is a simple program of neighbors watching out for each other. It is designed to enlist the active participation of citizens in cooperation with the police to reduce crime and improve the quality of life in their neighborhoods.
Call in suspicious activity, Crimestop at 602-262-6151.
Emergency help, call 9-1-1.
Report graffiti by calling 602-495-7014.
Our N.O.W. Block Watch program has been a proven crime deterrent. Please support crime reduction in our neighborhood by joining and promoting N.O.W.

About Bulk Trash Services:
Bulk trash consists of materials that are too large and must not be placed in the garbage or recycling container. Materials such as furniture, small appliances, toilets and large amounts of vegetation are often considered bulk trash. Bulk trash is currently collected from city-serviced residences four time each year. There are specific guidelines that must be followed, or the Coty of Phoenix cannot collect bulk trash from your property. Please read the Dos and Don'ts here.
Please be aware that the weeks of bulk trash placement and collection can invite possible illegal dumping. It is important to stay vigilant and report any kind of suspicious activity to the police or the Public Works Department.
Be sure to read all of City of Phoenix's guidelines on Bulk Trash here.
